The WC-6 Compact AC Magnetic Yoke is a precision instrument that uses Western Instruments' WC-Series Platform, which is utilized in all the WC-Series models. This Platform design is similar to our standard W-Series Platform, but far more compact, with the Urethane Rubber housing providing superior durability in rugged environments. This construction versatility is possible through our advanced Mechanical, Electrical, and Solid State Electronics designs. These designs permit the WC-Series to use our standard low profile sealed membrane activation switch, continuing our philosophy for operator safety, as the switch has a grounding provision and conducts less than 1/2 watt of power.

The WC-6x2 High Output AC Magnetic Yoke is designed and manufactured to aid the inspector in performing magnetic particle inspection on coated surfaces by lifting over 20 pounds. Many inspectors prefer its extra strong AC field for testing large areas with full leg extension.

The WC-8 Compact 12 Volt Pulsed DC Magnetic Yoke is a precision instrument that boasts the lowest power draw of any battery operated yoke. Battery packs are supplied in 3, 7 or 12 Amp Hour configurations with either 1 or 2 connectors, with the latter allowing a 12-Volt UV Lamp to operate off the same battery. Our standard 1.5 Amp battery charger is the strongest in the industry.

The WE-7 Compact AC/DC Magnetic Yoke is the worlds' lightest and most compact AC/DC Yoke. The WE-7 is equipped with a simple AC or DC Selector Switch. This MPI Yoke has a 6 position rotary switch for AC or 5 preset DC intensities, making the only AC/DC Yoke able to provide linear DC adjustments.
